I started developing this game in the summer of my freshman year. I followed Steve Johnson's pyglet tutorial
for basics of pyglet. And with love to the 90Tank from old days I wanted to do a similar thing to that game. And I started to try to develop.
At first it was very frustrating. No objects on the screen moved, but in a short while I got the hang of developing in pyglet and made Tank Town look like a game.
All the code aside from pyglet itself written in this project is mine. And the most fundamental graphics (tanks, background, bricks) are designed by BERK CANLI who is a friend of mine from SABANCI UNIVERSITY.
The game is not finished yet. It may not finish forever though. Options menu has no functionality, and the only difficulty you can play now is "Private".
But the main mechanics of the game are done. You can shoot, use spells activate traps in the game. With level design the game will have the functionality of a playable game.
If you want to contribute and want this game to be a decently finished game you can contact me via my e-mail.
